Important Safety Recall Notice Re: Douglas Lil Snugglers™ Children’s Blankets Douglas Company has recently become aware that certain of our children’s blankets (blankies or Snugglers) may not perform to our specifications. Several styles may have used substandard satin that has resulted in the possibility of the satin separating from the edge of the blanket, which may pose a strangulation hazard. In Cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Douglas announced a voluntarily recall of these products on May 20th, 2008. The Snuggler blankets were distributed to retailers between April 15, 2005 and July 30, 2007. Douglas will provide consumers who have recalled Snuggler Blankets with a replacement Snuggler, or an item of equal value. Douglas Co. will pay for all shipping. The information below can help you determine if you have a Snuggler that needs to be returned and replaced. Please read the information below and follow the links, as necessary.
Not All Douglas Lil' Snuggler Blankets are part of the recall. It is the earlier production runs being recalled. *Only Purchase Order Numbers 1330 or lower are part of this recall.
How to Identify the Recalled Items by purchase order: Locate the Purchase Order Number tab sewn into the blanket. If the Purchase order on your blanket is 1330 or lower then the Snuggler Blanket is part of the Safety Recall. If your Snuggler Blanket does not have any labels sewn into it, then your Snuggler is part of the Safety Recall. Look behind the red DOUGLAS sew in label. See the white rectangular label. 1331.1/ 1306 As in the example above, the first number 1331.1 on the label is the Style #, second number 1306 is the P.O. # (On this label the P.O# 1306 is lower than 1330, indicating that the item is part of the Recall.)

Upon receiving this E-mail Return Form, we will mail you a No-charge UPS Call Tag with instructions for shipping us your Snuggler Blanket free of charge. Upon receipt of your Snuggler Blanket, we will replace it or send something of equal value.
