“I love this bag.  I found it in a cute toy shop and thought it would be great for a little wallet and it has been.  The shape is good for any card I want to put in there and some dollar bills and change.  I get compliments on it all the time.  It also works great as a wrist-let while wrangling little ones and on the playground.  AND it fits in my pocket or larger purse, as well. My 2 and 4yr old like the colors too and I am sure wouldn't mind having one of their won

 

My little one loves his stuffed animal penguin... he can't sleep with out it. At this point he as now had the penguin named "Big Guin" for over 7 years and it is still fluffy, soft and in one piece. I would buy this stuffed penguin again.

 

Bought for my autistic son who loves dragons.  One the the most beautiful dragons I've seen and my son (who was 10 when purchased two years ago) loves him.  He named him Douglas and he is his best friend. The dragon has even pulled through two dog attacks was able to easily fix his eyes which the dogs had chewed out.  He still looks amazing

I found this llama toy at a zoo I visited with my 4 year old daughter and she just loves it. It's so soft and really looks like a llama, I happen to love llamas so I'd like to collect them all for her.

I love this cat!I got her for easter 2012.The only problem is her tail does not match her body.Other then that she makes a great friend for anybody.

 

My 3 year old has had her lamby since she was around 1 month old. After nearly losing it we ordered a second lamby just to be safe. As of this week we have moved and left 1 lamby behind. My daughter asked that I wash lamby after the car trip and now at bedtime, lamby is not dry enough to sleep with. Having to order at least 2 more because she still cries that she CANNOT sleep without lamby and would rather have her damp lamb than none for the night.  I absolutely HAVE to be better prepared and keep a few tucked away. May even order 1 of a different animal to see how she feels about it.

 

I use this cat while im doing creative play and i absoulutly love the fur texture and the face expression. This cat is perfect in everyway and this cat doesen't shed. If you love playing outback, this cat is for you. I love this cat, i hope you will too! :)

 

I'm not much one for Douglas stuffed animals, they are a rare thing where I live. But I was in our local Toy Store location about a week ago, and I saw this. It actually turned me on to border collies and made me anxious to get one!

 

My birthday is coming relatively close and my grandma took me down there to get one of these. :3 I actually redubbed it as a girl and named her Fly off of the movie "Babe".

 

I'd had second thoughts about getting this, but about the time I got into the Toy Store and saw it again, I warmed up to it. Happy I did! She is nice and soft, and I look forward to snuggling with her tonight. :)

This product is amazing. I found it at Sheels Sports store in the dog section and my daughter fell in love. She is 18 mo and doesn't leave the house without it. Put together extremely well and has been through all terrains! Highly suggest!

beautiful and soft, a great baby toy because it is big and fluffy. Babies play with it all day long, but it tires them, and they sleep with it.

 

Sweet rattle that our baby loves.  I'm really impressed that it is machine washable--moisture doesn't get into the plastic ring (which I was afraid would happen) and the plush "froggy" comes out just fine.

 

This was a gift at my baby shower. My daughter is now 18 months old and I am purchasing a new one "just in case" something happens to the original because she sleeps with it every night!

This is the best stuffed animal in the entire world. I sleep with it every night and I'm 20 years old. I got it as a gift for being accepted to college and it's the softest cutest stuffed animal ever.

 

We used this cuddler as a transition object as we weaned our 7 month old from swaddling and rocking to sleep and she took to it right away- We set her in her crib when she's sleepy and it gives her something soft to stroke and cuddle with as she falls asleep, she seems to love it.

My twin boys love their dragons! The colors are very bright and vivid. We've had them for about a year and they are just as good as the day we bought them.

 

"Douglas," is the ONLY stuffed animal my 4-year-old son has ever approached me with and asked if we could bring him home. I had tried for a couple of years to find him a "lovey" to go to sleep with and use as a transition object when I had to leave him with another caregiver. Instead, my son found him all on his own, nestled on a store shelf with several other stuffies. From the moment we got home, this guinea pig has slept with him, gone hiking, hid in the fall leaves, and accompanied him to many days of school (taking a "nap" in the backpack, of course). He has been a lovely addition to my little boy's life, and really, a part of our family.

 

It is a great quality stuffed animal, soft and fun to play with.

 

I am 13 years old and I love my panda. I got him when I was 5 and I had named him Pandie. My mom thinks he's too dirty, but I think he's just right. If you have a kid that loves pandas and stuffed animals, get him this one! He'll love it

My daughter loves this! I bought it for her back when she was just a couple of months old. She is 6 months old now and just recently discovered that it neighs. The day after discovering this she started screaming at it. When she did this, I would push the button for the horse to "respond". After a few rounds of this, my daughter started altering her cute little scream to where it almost sounded like she was trying to neigh back. :)

 

This product is adorable! My daughter also loves the rattle, tags, and likes to bite the nose!

 

My almost two-year-old boy instantly fell in love with it. He's hugging it all the time. Highly recommended for everyone.

 

I bought this Border Collie a few months ago because it reminded me of my real Border Collie, Zinger. But I named this one Lusa, which means "Black" or "Midnight Black."

 

She soon became my favorite toy! I even made her a home-made bed to sleep in out of a shoe box!

 

After a few months I went back and bought a DCT Sheltie, who I named Otulissa. I have to say, the BC's muzzle should be a bit longer, like the Shelties, but the fur looks perfect, and I love that the Border Collie ears have wires so they can be moved. :) I brush her fur out every few days to keep it from getting knotted. With the time she spends running around with me, the fur like a real Border Collie can get a bit tangled. ;)

 

All in all, this pup is beautiful, soft, cuddly, realistic, and was worth every penny I paid for her. :) I often get a lot of comments saying how cute and realistic Lusa looks.

 

One day I was texting my sister and ending the test with Love, (I thought)  I must have typed ll and the the phone automatically came back with the word llamas.  I didn't notice, sent the text, and ever since it has been our code word for "love you, Sister".  She sent 2 llama cuddle toys as a Christmas gift...  and I cried!

the Sheba collie was much better then I expceted and larger. Since I can't have a real collie, This Sheba Collie is a great substitue and cuddly:)

 

My dad brought two of these home from Boston when he went there for his job when I was little. I named them Splish and Splash. They're twin brothers, and I cannot tell you how much I played with them when I was little. They're easy to play with, soft, adorable, and very very lovable. I still play with them now I love them so much, and I'm 15.

I got this dog as a companion for another toy dog I've had for 21 years.  He's beautiful I can't wait to show him off. He maintains a sit pose very well, can stand and lay down. I love the different textures of short and long fur.  I'm sure he will be around for many years. Just like my other dog He has a leather effect nose which is so much nicer than a plastic one. I'm so pleased that Someone is still making toys of such quality.

 

I got this dog for a really close friend who had to euthanize their 16 year old Sheltie, Bucky, this past year. He lived a very good and long life, but it was still hard for her to say goodbye to such a good dog.

 

So I figured I should get her a plush Sheltie that resembled Bucky, and I found this one at a local toy store. I just could not believe how much he looked like Bucky! So realistic and soft fur!

 

I'm sure she's gonna love this plush dog, and I think she'll be happy to have a Bucky again. Thank you DCT! I have the greatest Christmas present to give now!

Our little guy LOVES his 'lamby'.  He HAS to have it to sleep.  And we actually had to get a second as a backup. Super soft - and he used to chew on the ears so we wash it a lot - but be careful drying!! too hot - and it singes his hair - and he's not as soft any more.  Over-all - great cuddle toy.

 

I received this item as a gift for my daughter's baby shower.  Little did I know that this would be the one item she would latch on to.  She started sleeping with him when we transitioned her to her crib when she was three months old.  By the time she was six months old, we could go nowhere without "Ducky," and her whole world came crashing down around her every time we left him somewhere and she had to sleep without him.  She is now four years old, and this toy is still her favorite . . . her one and only lovey.  He goes everywhere with us and sleeps with her every night and for all of her naps.  He looks a little grayer than he did the day we got him, but that's because he is well loved.  He has always washed up really well for us, and the satin trim is still very much intact and still firmly attached.  I love that Douglas has continued to make these for at least the past four years.  We have had to replace Ducky several times.  The first time, we left him at a hotel.  Fortunately, the housekeeping staff found him and mailed him to us.  But we ordered several extras while we waited to get him back so that we would never be left without a Ducky again.  It wasn't until she turned three that our daughter decided the original Ducky was best, but her back-up Duckies suffice when Ducky #1 is missing.  This cuddle toy has been the best.  I bought another Douglas lil snuggler for my newborn nephew knowing it will hold up to all the loving he wants to give him.  And I'm considering buying another for our own new baby, due in just a couple of months.  I would not hesitate to buy other Douglas toys, to give them as gifts, or to recommend them, because our experience with this lil Ducky snuggler has been wonderful.

 

This was a gift for our older son, and we started giving it to him at about 4 months of age. Now 22 months old, it is absolutely his best friend. He cannot sleep without it. We thought it was a bunny at first, so we call it "Bunner." We LOVE this snuggly toy for him so much that I'm now ordering one for our 6-month-old. It's a must-have in our household.

I buy this exact cat every year from the douglas company for my Rottweiler,and she just loves it. 

 

It can withstand her daily torture of tossing, chewing and licking.  My dog is addicted to "her kitty cat" and it's her good friend.  It is obviously very durable, and can take a brutal beating.  Good quality and very life like.

 

This was my gift to myself. I had owned two Douglas Dragons prior to Merlin. I looked at the site and found Merlin and had to get him as a birthday present to myself. I was presently surprised when he arrived earlier than expected. He perches on my book shelf viewing all that happens in my office. His personality shines through and makes me smile each time I see him. - I'm not a nut, just a dragon and Douglas Dragon fan.

 

I lost my 2 Springers and my daughter gave me 2 stuffed ones from Douglas Cuddleys. I sleep with them every night and they are so soft and warm.

 

My dad and I saw this little guy at a cute shop that sells all kinds of stuff animals, and we had to get him! We have two real German Short Hair Pointers in our home and thought Ivan would be a cute addition!

 

I just love buffalo! You only get te big one, but ymthe big one is tiny and stiff.

 

My theme for my christmas tree this year is gingerbread and I had a difficult time finding plush gingerbread people. I saw these and ordered 2 of each boy and girl and in 3 days I had my order and they are absolutely adorable. I just ordered 5 more and would recommend them to other buyers.

When this grown woman (or at least physically mature, being in no hurry to grow up) bought the Ruby Red for her four-year-old nephew, she simply couldn't resist picking up another one for herself. I may not be running around and roughhousing with him, but that velvety fabric is just right for stroking when I need a little inspiration, and he's easier to care for than a cat. And he's so darn cute, to boot. He's now the official guardian of the end of my couch.

 

My daughter received this as a gift when she was born. She is 4 now, and "Lambie" is her faithful night-time buddy and travel companion. This "Lambie" has done more traveling at this point than I did by the time I was 30! It has been washed MANY times, and although the fur shows a bit of wear, it has held up remarkably. This is by far the most used toy or gift she ever received. Highly recommend!!

This is such a cute toy and my daughter loves it! She was just under three months old when I bought it for her. The rattle portion is just the right size. Right now she likes to hold the rattle and chew and lick the satin parts of the toy. :)

 

My daughter LOVES this toy! It truly is her favorite! At less than 3 months old, she picked this one out while we were in the bookstore. My husband didn't believe me. When he took the horse off of her lap (she was in the stroller), she launched her pacifier out of her mouth and stared hard at him. When he gave the horse back, she smiled and laughed! She sleeps with this every night. When she is tired or away from home, she will keep ahold of this horse's tail or mane. She holds it and slobbers on it when sitting up on the couch. I am very glad that we bought her this toy! We love it so much that I came to this website and bought her 3 more toys!

 

About 15 years ago, when FAO Schwarz businesses were still open nationwide, I was given the opportunity to select any toy from their store as a gift for my own. I chose this dachshund because of its gleaming red, incredibly smooth, velvet-soft coat.  Even today, although the feet are a little scruffy in need of cleaning, it remains ridiculously snugly soft. No fur has worn away and every seam remains as good as new even given all the time and loving wear it has received (although I've never tried to clean it or anything). My parents (now grandparents) and fiancee' still joke about how, as a grown adult, I still give my old snuggle buddy a cuddle every now and then.  It's the perfect size for kids to huggle, not too small so that it gets lost all the time (I'm still finding toys in my parents' couch lol) and not so large that it crowds their beds! :P  The toy was gifted to me at a very difficult time in my childhood and presently, after struggling with life-threatening health issues, it still serves to comfort me.  I definitely recommend this or any Douglas plush as a friend for any child as it will surely serve them for a lifetime and possibly their own childrens' lifetimes as well.  Plus, this little guy is just so darn cute, how could one resist! :P

 

We got our son's horse from a friend shortly after he was born.  We started putting him to bed with it when he was 6 or 8 weeks old.  When he could grab it himself, he started to search specifically for those silky horse feet to rub on his sleepy eyes. Now our son is 16 months old, and it is his "Horsie." It is the perfect size for finding amidst other toys at nap/bedtime, for fitting in the diaper bag when nap-time will be while we're not home, etc.  We love that it is safe for infants and that it's been durable enough to withstand him constantly sleeping with it.  It was especially great for when we were weaning him off nighttime feedings, as it was his comfort object from the very beginning.  When it gets dirty I throw it in the washer, and air dry it.  I've never machine-dried it before.  But he even likes to hold it damp - and it dries so fast I don't think he even knows it got washed.

 

My daughter picked this out on a school field trip to an aquarium when she was 6 yrs old. She is now 8 and still loves it. She sleeps with it every night and can't be without it.  Thanks for making such a cute and cuddly product.

He was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend. I sleep with him every night. I named him Bruiser. Perfect substitute until I can afford a real bulldog. High quality! Love this dog!
